Renewable Parkway

Tech-Western, Inc. has initiated the process to convert the Northwest Parkway facilities to an environmentally sound operation functioning exclusively on solar power.  Approximately thirty individual systems will be built across the Parkway at a total project cost of approximately sixteen million dollars.  The Northwest Parkway will likely be the first entirely solar powered toll road facility in the Country.  The project is approved and currently under way with on-site construction slated to begin early in 2009.

Each photovoltaic system along the Parkway and the resulting Renewable Energy Credits generated by the system will be sold to individual investors.  The investor will qualify for the recently renewed thirty percent Federal tax credit based on the purchase price of the system and will own marketable securities called Renewable Energy Credits which they may choose to hold or to remarket.

Tech-Western, Inc. is seeking progressive minded investors that would be willing to supply initial funds for a single solar site or multiple sites. Initial investment opportunities begin at approximately thirty thousand dollars up to the entire project amount of sixteen million dollars.

The Renewable Energy Credits will entitle the owner to significant benefits:

  • The marketing potential of an ownership position in an extremely high profile and visible project site,
  • Clean green power to offset power produced by conventional and other fossil fuels,
  • An environmentally progressive investment project with the potential of a significant financial upside,
  • The opportunity to invest in a project that is the first of its kind.

Tech-Western, Inc. has been a leader in large complex industrial construction projects for over almost two decades and has millions of dollars in successful projects across the Country.
